  There is a weight limit on the bridge. I think it is 3 tons. The disused railway underneath is so overgrown that heading west it's a wood to the next bridge at Little Smeaton. I've walked the trackbed a few times and there are anomalies along the track and its cutting. The trail would be great but how many mega quid it will cost. I've walked and biked over it many times as friends live close to here. Maintenance is likely to be an issue soon. There is a live railway to the east and the bridge over it has been demolished. That makes an eastern trail difficult to build.
